Have you heard of Try It Tuesday?
If you are anything like me, you probably have a Pinterest board full of DIY and craft tutorials that you are saving for a rainy day. My handmade to-do list is full to bursting, but it's very rare that I get around to actually trying out the tutorials. So from this week onwards, I'm teaming up with the girls from Trends With Benefits and lots of other lovely craft bloggers to try out our favourite craft tutorials!
This week, I learnt to finger knit thanks to this great tutorial by Kate.
I have been knitting on and off for a few years - but I am by no means an expert. After trying out finger knitting - I am absolutely obsessed! It's so easy and addictive, I finished this snood in a leisurely evening in front of the telly. Jake even joined in too - (I kind of think his snood is better than mine, but shh don't tell him)... Try out the tutorial for yourself, just don't blame me when you are over-run with snoods!
If you'd like to join in with Try It Tuesday's all you have to do is:
1// Find a tutorial from any blog that you would like to try out, and just get down to it!
2// Take a photo of your finished item and write a post about it on a Tuesday. You can also tweet it or post it to instagram using the hashtag #TryItTuesday. Remember to credit the person who created the tutorial.
3// Tweet the original creator to let them know you have tried their tutorial - this is the fun bit, I'd love to see the results of other crafters trying out ideas that I've posted!
And that's it, an easy-peasy way to spread the crafty love.
